Megan has over six years’ experience in marketing and over four in forestry.
Megan has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Marketing) from Victoria University, which included a six month exchange program at California State University in Chico, California.
Prior to her employment at ASH, she worked in marketing for two years at the tech company Zwift.
Megan’s combined experience includes a detailed knowledge of digital marketing, email marketing, CRM systems, budget management, social media, copy writing and content creation. She also has extensive history in developing client relationships and creating growth through sales and marketing.
Megan’s passions lie in forestry and culture development. In 2019, she participated in the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation’s Regional Forestry Collaborative Leadership Program in which she expanded her knowledge in forestry and established herself as an emerging leader in this sector. Since then, Megan was voted in as Secretary of the Gippsland Forestry Hub that was established to improve local issues in forestry and to create a prosperous future for the industry.
Also in 2019, Megan became a MATE Bystander Facilitator which contributes to the overall health and wellbeing of the community and provides tools to stand up against discrimination, bullying, sexual discrimination, violence and gender stereotypes.
Megan is currently participating in an organisational coaching program conducted by Pat Groenhout, an established leader within forestry and agribusiness.
Other qualifications include General Assembly’s One Day Marketing Bootcamp and Coding for Marketers, Wellington Shire’s Business seminar and the Winning Work on Projects workshop by ICN.
Outside of her professional life, Megan enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping and cooking.
