Kajewski-Miller’s Victorian Ash Credenza

Credenza’ – an English term for a dining room sideboard or cupboard, commonly used as a display cabinet. This one in particular, is the ultimate mid-century inspired sideboard that encompasses elegance and sophistication.

Creatives Kajewski-Miller are a small multidisciplinary design studio that focuses on sustainable hand crafted products, from furniture to lighting and everything in between. The studio focuses on ‘tactility’ and ‘warmth in material’ that will help to incorporate a sense of belonging, which is so evidently shown in this very credenza.

Mid-century furniture uses minimalist design, boasting clean lines and gentle curves with a mix of classic materials. “Much of Kajewski-Miller’s work explores the process of ageing to develop a history or story between objects and people” as added by Chris Miller.

The Credenza combines two robust materials – Victorian ash and brass. Chris further explains “The way Victorian ash and brass matured over time really encapsulated our concept”.

GOODWOOD Victorian ash furniture is hard-wearing, strong and beautiful. GOODWOOD has a warm blonde appearance which takes stains and paints very well and is easy to work, cut and nail. Find out more about Victorian ash in furniture here.
