“With a timeless quality and natural material palette comprising white painted brick, concrete, natural timber and tactile detailing, the home exudes a warm and soft assurance while requiring minimal maintenance.”
Inspired by an existing heritage cottage, Garden House by Space Agency Architects is a welcoming home designed to adapt to the ever-evolving lifestyle of a family of five. The futureproof residence was carefully designed to allow access from a number of entranceways and provide the ability to divide spaces. Although the residence boasts a fairly modern design, heritage textures like the limestone walls were preserved.
A soft and natural material palette adorns the façade, showcasing a combination of white brick and treated Victorian ash timber detailing to complement the light and airy beachside environment. With pristine views of the Western Australian peninsula and a beautiful garden surrounding the house, the design allows for an effortless flow between indoor and outdoor living.
