Made By Morgen is a small furniture business started in 2014 by owner, Nick McDonald.
Nick is a 33 year old craftsman come designer from South West Victoria who specializes in custom orders primarily from recycled timbers.
After working on the stylish fit out for Green Cup on Chapel Street (the superfood snack and smoothie bar in South Yarra), Nick was exposed to working with Vic Ash. ” I actually hadn’t ever used the material much before this job and was amazed at the end result”. “Powder coated white steel frames for the stools and tables and Vic ash for the tops. The Material was chosen for 3 reason – ease of use, cost effectiveness and its attractive aesthetics.”
He goes on to say that after working with Vic ash once, he begun “using it for dowel chairs, table legs and stool tops” which make features in the images above.
