CLT Annandale House is an addition and alterations project that transforms a long and narrow heritage home into a flexible and light filled space. Designed for a young family, the home shied away from its original layout and evolved to allow for additional rooms, along with a more functional and inspired use of the area.

The creative minds behind the design was the team at Still Space Architecture, a Sydney-based architectural firm that focuses on ‘creating calm spaces that are connected to the landscape’. Specialising in large renovations and custom designed homes, the team pride themselves on using colour, light, material and craft to achieve tranquil spaces.

Significant to the home is the use of timber, aimed at creating an environmentally responsible and inspiring space. The palette of Australian timbers features a GoodWood staircase and Australian Oak engineered flooring, chosen to pair harmoniously with the CLT.

A new Australian Oak is on its way! The team at ASH are hard at work commissioning and perfecting the new engineered flooring line at our world-class facility in Heyfield – the same location where many of our much loved products like GoodWood, American Oak by ASH and MASSLAM are produced. Made using a GoodWood wear layer and an Australian made, cross laminated hardwood substrate, our new range of Australian Oak means that you will be receiving a 100% Australian made product.
