STUDIO BRIGHT
“For us, every project is an opportunity to contribute in a positive and generous way to the social and built fabric of our cities”
Designed and executed by the award winning practice Studio Bright (formerly MAKE Architecture), this beautiful home depicts its heritage by seamlessly transitioning from the existing Edwardian house to the sculptural addition.
Ruckers Hill house is an intimate place to restore and reset whilst celebrating the culture of the family that lives within. Different rooms pay homage to the household like the brightly painted walls, timber clad kitchen and a wall of vinyl to represent their shared love of music.
The design celebrates the formation of materials like robust timber, versatile mesh and interpretative lines. GOODWOOD Victorian ash lining boards clad the walls and ceiling, veneers envelope the common areas and flooring to complete the cohesive approach.
GOODWOOD Victorian ash gives specifiers the confidence to design with consistency in mind. GOODWOOD’s complete range of flooring, lining, window and door profiles, veneers, moulded and custom profiles, staircase components, bench tops and exterior profiles creates a harmonious result. STUDIO BRIGHT
“Victorian ash timber, being native to the state and a fast-growing species, is the more sustainable option to many more commonly used species – a consideration that is important to the ethos of the studio. We love the versatility of the GOODWOOD Victorian ash product range, allowing a seamless cladding of floor, wall, ceiling and cabinetry for a warm, immersive spatial quality”
