Lemon, Middle and Orange cafe located at 25 Rokeby Street, Collingwood, was named after the pigments offered by the former paint factory at this site.

The existing industrial shell is brought to life with clever use of lighting and finely crafted Victorian ash joinery.

The result is a perfect combination of materials that are both durable and comfortable – as we have come to expect from a John Wardle Architects design.

The John Wardle Architects website elaborates on the project by adding”with custom joinery of Victorian ash, and upturned paint-tins harking back to the site’s history, the cafe offers a quiet refuge in the industrial side of Collingwood.”

Australian Sustainable Hardwoods offer GoodWood Victorian ash laminated table tops and joinery as part of our every day package. To achieve the look of Lemon, Middle & Orange combine these table tops with our stair laminated sizes and coat with Whittle Waxes ‘clear matte’ hard wax oil.
